The performance at Seraya Budaya, like others in the area, takes place in a traditional setting and typically occurs in the evening. The plot revolves around Prince Rama's quest to rescue his wife, Sita, from the demon king Ravana. The main characters are portrayed by elaborately costumed dancers, while the chanting chorus acts as both the musical accompaniment and the army of monkeys assisting Rama

Key components of the Kecak dance:

• The Ramayana story: The dance is a dramatic enactment of the Ramayana epic, focusing on the abduction of Sita and her eventual rescue.
• The chorus: A large circle of male performers, sometimes numbering in the dozens, sits around a central fire. The rhythmic and hypnotic chanting of "cak-cak-cak" creates a powerful, percussion-like soundscape that sets the mood for the entire performance.
• The characters: Dancers portray the main characters, including the noble Prince Rama, the beautiful Princess Sita, the evil King Ravana, and the devoted monkey god Hanuman.

Children under 2 years will be considered as infant and entry will be free of cost.

Children between age 3 to 12 will be considered as child and charged child rate.

Children above age 12 will be considered as an adult and charged adult rate.
