• A valid ticket is required for every passenger, including infants aged 0–3, who travel free of charge

• VDP reserves the right to refuse boarding to, or request the disembarkation of, any passenger whose conduct — including intoxication or aggressive or antisocial behaviour — compromises the orderly conduct of the cruise or the safety of the vessel
• Animals are not permitted on board, with the exception of guide dogs accompanying visually impaired passengers
• All vessels are strictly non-smoking; open flames or gas are prohibited

• VDP reserves the right to deny boarding to unaccompanied minors under the age of 16

• VDP shall not be held liable for the loss, theft, or damage of passengers' personal belongings
• VDP shall not be held liable for changes to schedules, itineraries, vessels, or cruise duration resulting from force majeure or navigation authority directives

• Complaints must be raised on-site at the time of the service in order to be considered
• Formal complaints must be submitted by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to VDP at Port de Suffren, 75007 Paris, within 15 days of the date of service

Arrive at Port de Suffren on the left bank, directly beneath the Eiffel Tower, and look for the Vedettes de Paris flags on the quay. Present your ticket at the boarding control and take your seat — window rows and open-air sections both offer clear sightlines, so there's no bad spot for photographs. Departures run roughly every half hour through the day, with the pace of sailings shifting slightly by season.

Once underway, your guide takes the microphone and works down the river in French and English, layering history and anecdote over each monument as it appears.
