Sumo Paradise Tokyo Ryogoku: Full Experience with Sumo Performance, Chicken Hot Pot & Mochi Pounding in Ryogoku, Tokyo

Sumo Paradise Tokyo Ryogoku offers a unique cultural dining experience in the heart of Ryogoku, Tokyo — the home of sumo wrestling. Guests can enjoy an exciting live sumo performance while learning about the traditions and rituals of Japan’s national sport. The experience also includes a delicious chicken hot pot (chanko nabe), a hearty meal traditionally eaten by sumo wrestlers, followed by an interactive mochi pounding session.

• The sumo show is different from morning sumo practice and matches. It's an entertaining sumo performance suitable for both adults and children. Please understand this in advance.
• If many participants wish to join the sumo challenge with former wrestlers or mochi-pounding experience, one representative per group may be selected or a lottery may be conducted depending on the situation.
• The souvenirs may vary depending on the season.
• Vegetarian or vegan meals available upon request. Please inform us at least 2 days before your booking date.
• This activity does not provide wheelchair facilities.
• Gluten-free or halal food is not provided, but you may bring your own food to participate in the activity.

Under the supervision of the 63rd Yokozuna, former Makuuchi wrestlers perform live, bringing you an up-close and personal experience of the thrilling world of real sumo wrestling. In addition to experiencing the dohyo (sumo ring) and taking photos with sumo wrestlers, you can also enjoy authentic chanko nabe hot pot personally taught by a yokozuna. Mochi pounding is also one of the most popular activities.

Children under 2 years will be considered as infant and entry will be free of cost.

Children between age 3 to 12 will be considered as child and charged child rate.

Children above age 12 will be considered as an adult and charged adult rate.
