Located in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, Miyazu Bay in Miyazu City has a special natural landscape. The name Amanohashidate comes from the fact that when you look back at the two hills of Kasamatsu Park at the northern end of the sandbar and Hiryukan at the southern end of the sandbar, with your back to the sandbar and your head down between your legs, the sandbar appears to stretch toward the sky at an angle.
There is an observatory overlooking Amanohashidate on Mt. Monju, and on top of the mountain there is a Ferris wheel and other attractions that people of all ages can enjoy.
